Festival Time at Weobley Castle Gower
The Festival Season in about to begin in the Gower peninsula, that time of year for music, marquees and fun-filled, family entertainment. And this year, Gower’s got not one, but two super festivals in the most wonderful location at Weobley Castle.
Weobley Castle is a 14th Century fortified manor house at the heart of a Weobley Castle Farm – a working sheep farm perched in a dramatic location at the edge of Gower’s famed tidal salt marshes on the north coast of the peninsula. The site offers panoramic views over the Loughor Estuary, and further towards the West Wales.
Gower Folk Festival
This weekend (13th – 15th June 2025) sees the wonderful Gower Folk Festival, a 3-day event of live entertainment, workshops, great food and drink and real ales from award-winning Gower Brewery. Here you’ll find some of the biggest names in Folk including, Jack Badcock, Culverake, Kantref, Rachel McShane and the Cartographers and a whole host more. Jopofest
Looking further ahead, from 18.00 on Friday, 25th July until 11.00 on Monday 28th July, the much-anticipated Jopofest returns to Weobley Castle with a full weekend of live entertainment, said to be the ultimate music extravaganza and where memories are made. The event promises to give a laid-back festival atmosphere with something on offer for everyone, including headlining acts and kid-friendly activities.
